Flashback to the 2006 World Boxing Hall of Fame Banquet

by DAN HANLEY

Once again my Pops and I made our pilgrimage out west to the 2006 World Boxing Hall of Fame induction weekend. And, as in years past we talked of great old fights, great old pugs and renewed great old friendships. One does not have to sport a resume or agenda at this grand event, as I find fighters to be the most honest and honorable among athletes and who always have time for the casual and die-hard fan. Even if one totes his rambunctious and mischievous Pops along.

For now, let's just sit back and reminisce of bygone days and days to come.

See ya next round,

Dan Hanley
