Jan 7 -Philadelphia (Pa) Item reported the following article from the
Boston (Ma) News: Steele and Frank Kerrigan, a brother of
Patsy, had an argument in the street a few days ago, and a
rough and tumble fight took place. During the scrimmage,
Steele chewed off part of Kerrigan's thumb. The latter did
not mind that for he managed to get his teeth inserted in
Steele's nose and it took seven stitches to close the gap
which Kerrigan made with his molars. When Steele bit Kerrigan,
the latter did not make an outcry, but when he began to chew
Steele, the latter could be heard for blocks around.
