Jones fought many minor battles and was the Master of Ceremonies at the "Fives and Tennis Court" for a long while; A scrappy and feisty fighter, he often tangled men larger than himself; He is most famous for his battle with the larger Jem Belcher in 1799

Tom will be inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2010
