Saturday, July 29
at the Jackson Armory,
6255 NE Cornfoot Road, Portland, OR
First bout scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
Tickets: Ringside $30, General Admission $15
The last time former tough-guy John Egge fought in Portland, his
main event was fought in two minute rounds, apparently to accommodate
his age, 39 years, and his decade out of the ring. This time out
the bout is scheduled for actual grown-up three-minute rounds. The
amiable Egge has a lot of ticket-buying friends and relations,
which makes him valuable to the small club promoter, Oregon
Trails, Inc.
