Oregon Kicks Off the New Century with Two Local Club Shows in January

----Saturday, January 15, at the Multnomah Greyhound Park, NE 223rd Avenue and Fairview in Portland. Oregon Trails Promotions with matchmaker Bob Oleson. Six proposed bouts (still subject to change) : The card currently looks like this.

--In a six round cruiserweight main event, popular Portland former tough-guy John Egge, who last fought in 1992 vs Robert Ryan (0-1)of Spokane,Washington.

--8 rounds, middleweights, Scott Lansdon of Baker City, OR vs Brock Stodden of Bremerton, WA.

--6 rounds, light heavyweight, Jeff Simmons of Portland vs Mike Waters of Washington.

--4 rounds, middleweights, Dominic Rivera of Portland vs Gonzo Dominguez of Hood River, OR

--4 rounds, featherweights, Angelo Torres of Tacoma vs Cezar Lopez of Woodburn, OR.

--4 or 6 rounds, welterweights, Tony Martinez of Woodburn vs TBA

--8 rounds, heavyweights, comebacking former prospect Tim Puller of Seattle vs TBA

----Friday, January 21, Rumble at the Roseland. The Roseland Theater, 10 NW 6th Avenue at Burnside in Portland. This is the Northwest's answer to Philadelphia's Blue Horizon--a snug rock concert hall with a surrounding balcony to look right into the ring. Promoter Ivan Kafoury expands his pro wrestling enterprise to include boxing in cahoots with Double T honcho David Leiken. Matchmaker is Thad Spencer, with active assistance from Danny Stenado. Six bouts are proposed but yet to be announced. The theorhetical main event will feature Salem Jr. middleweight slugger Candy Robertson, 8-1.
