TAEJUN-Japan's SATOSHI KOGUMAZAKA, 48.7 kg, dropped YONGNAM LIM, novice king tourney winner of 1998, 48.5 kg, in the first and second rounds en route to a unanimous decision over 10. Lim suffered his first defeat and dropped to 5-1, 4 KOs.

Korean super-light champ JUNGBUM KIM, 64.5 kg, demolished Filipino FRANCIS VELASQUEZ, 63.7 kg, at 1:07 of the second session. Bumjin Promotion.
