COMPUTER GAME REVIEW:

THE FIGHT GAME by MSL Games

reviewed by Michael DeLisa (delisa1066@aol.com)

The Fight Game is a clever, fun little computer game. There are no blood, guts, flying mouthpieces or shouts of "body blow! body blow!" Instead, the game makes you a neophyte manager in the dog-eat-dog world of professional boxing. You sign up fictitious fighters, train them, and arrange matches. Your goal is to guide your guy to the champtionship. The graphics are more limited than even Hanna-Barbera, but you do get to see your fighter in the matches you've made. I ran fighter to 6-0 with 6 kayoes -- and I thought I had a champ on my hands! Then I ran into a spoiler and we lost two bouts in a row. Time to rebuild a career.

Since there are hundreds of fighters in all of the weight classes, you can spend many hours with this game, creating your own boxing empire.

The Fight Game can be ordered from MSL Games, PO Box 2116, Wichita, KS 67201. The price is $39.95 plus $3 shipping or handling. Or, e-mail Bryan King at fzng49a@prodigy.com for more information.
