WBA of North America super lightweight champion HECTO CAMACHO, JR., kept his undefeated record intact with a third-round knockout victory over former Mexican national champion Juan Camella Rodriguez.

Camacho-Rodriguez was the Main Event of a seven-bout card at the Ventura County Fairgrounds in ventura, CA. The fight was televised live by Telemundo.

Camacho (143 lbs) improved to 26-0 (15 KOs) in this non-title bout that was scheduled for 10 rounds. Rodriguez (142 lbs) fell to 36-13-2 (23 KOs).

In the co-main event, cross town rivals, Rudy Martinez of Oxnard met Felipe Campa of Salinas for the vacant WBC super bantamweight junior world title. Campa (121.25 lbs), improved to 6-1-1 (5 KOs) in winning the title via unanimous decision. Martinez (122 lbs), fell to 10-1 (6 KOs).
